So, I have gotten the results for my mid year exams, at least 9 of them. I still haven’t get my Malay Language results, but I’m sure I’ll be getting at least 60% for it. Here’s my results:
English Language - 86% A1
English for Science and Technology - 85% A1
Chemistry - 43% E8
Modern Maths - 47% D7
Biology - 62 C5
History - 58% C5
Additional Maths - 37% G9 (failed)
Physics - 41% E8
Islamic Studies - 65% B4
Malay Language - More than 60%
I am happy that I have improved from my last year’s results. But I’m exteremely upset that I didn’t pass my Add Maths. Add Maths is one hell of a subject and it’s sickeningly enough that if we have the chance to drop that subject, I’ll be the first person to drop it. But alas, students who take up Pure Science stream MUST take that subject. I knew I was going to fail my Add Maths paper but I didn’t think I’m going to get 37% which is 3 marks short of passing. Fuck.
We won our debate competition. But it’s funny how we won it. The day of the debate comp, I was nervous as hell (since it’ll be my first time debating) and I was going through my script over and over. I arrived at school and the teacher told me and the rest of the guys in the team that STJ (the school that we’re supposed to go against) forfeited, lmfao. So we automatically advance to the next round without doing anything haha. So now, Mr. Rashid (our teacher) is going to ask for Rafiq’s dad who is an international debate tournament judge and a famour debate coach to help us. I hope we win the next round.
Oh and Cassie, Sarrah and myself is working on yet another fansite. You can might as well call Cassie and I a bunch of fansite whores ;)

Wow. You are smart, girl! :) Congrats on improving lots. I envy your English marks! I’m always getting 60+ for English. :( I love Science, I’m in sec 2 now. I really want to take Bio next year, but there’s a certain limit right? :|
Woah! Debate? That’s a part of my CCA, though I don’t join it. I’m not interested! My bestfriend is in debate, she told me that her first debate comp was freaking scary. :|

I’d kill to get English results like you do =( I still remember when I did! But I’ve somehow dropped in standards. FUCK. (Would swearing affect it? ;D)
I failed Physics and I literally felt like dying. I mean, I passed my overall, but when I failed my paper, I think I just wanted to kill myself =(
ARGH! At least you’re an optimistic person about everything =D Hope your Malay Language results turn out good!

Hmm… The printing of grades in my country’s way different so me no comprende :p
Ha-ha math! I actually like math [geometry] :D It’s chemistry that I hate but when I was in grade school I would have verbal duels with my math teacher because he kept picking on me.
Debate huh? Honestly I dislike debates but I’m more than willing to butt heads just to get my point across LOL anyway, it’s great that you won :]

WTF?! ur results are great! well, almost like mine.. haha.. I failed addmath too.. shit. haha, well, atleast your english is higher than mine.. I just scored BI 74%..btw, I scored chem and phy same as u.. its the same actual number. and I scored 57% for moral studies.. well, phy and chem.. ngam2 lulus.. haha

Congratulations on getting such great results! What makes it even more wonderful is that it was friday the 13th too, lmao unlucky day xD no one got unlucky this year thank goodness for that xD but 3 marks short of passing in additional maths? tell ‘em to re-check your paper, maybe they’ll find some more marks in there ;)
